The Corning Heritage Center is a 501c3 in Daviess County, Indiana, which focuses on celebrating the unique Irish heritage of Southern Indiana. Founded to preserve St. Patrick’s Catholic church and rectory, the CHC has worked tirelessly to maintain and remodel both buildings to serve as a location for events and historic research. Dedicated to restoring the beauty of a Victorian home, we strive to remain as accurate as possible to the era of the buildings while bringing them up to modern living standards to host family reunions, weddings, receptions, and CHC programs. Our board and our members are our workforce, and as much is done by volunteers as possible. We encourage anyone interested in our mission to join us in our beautiful countryside location to assist with the preservation of our Irish heritage in Corning.

The Corning Heritage Center is a remarkable place that truly embodies the spirit of Irish culture. Their dedication to preserving our heritage through engaging events and programs is commendable. I attended a genealogy workshop and was amazed by the wealth of knowledge shared. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel at home. I highly recommend visiting this center for anyone interested in Irish ancestry or community events!
