Irish Heritage Fest 2026
Join us June 6 from 10 AM-6 PM for a day of Irish music, fun, and food at the Corning Heritage Center! There will be a flag raising for veterans at 10 AM to kick off the festivities. The Southern Indiana Pipes and Drums will perform from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, followed by Laughing Jack Irish

Christmas at Corning
Join us in Corning for our second annual Christmas event! We’ll be decking the halls in our beautiful Victorian house. Visit us on November 22 from 4-8 to drink in the atmosphere. We’ll have live music from 4-6, and there will be refreshments served in Celtic Hall. Our volunteers look forward to sharing the holiday

We have two events coming up in November this year. The first event is our annual Cemetery Walk. Join us on November 1 at 4:00 PM at Corning. We will have a guest speaker to entertain you in between tours of the graveyard where you will hear stories of our ancestors. Hot drinks and holiday

Corning Picnic
Be sure to check out the exciting events we have planned for this year’s annual picnic! There will be entertainment, vendors, great food, excellent company, raffles, genealogy, and a giant slide (for the kids). We’ll be coming home to our Irish roots, and we invite you to join us! Genealogy weekend in August
Join Erin Doyle in Curran House on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24. She’ll be assisting people with their local and Irish genealogy from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Erin has been growing the collection of books and family genealogies in the Nolan-Murphy library, located in the McDonald room of the center.
